The opportunity: We have a unique opportunity for an Internal Recruiter to join our team in Stockton-On-Tees. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager and forming part of the HR function for Cubic’s EMEA region, you will play an integral role in implementing a cost effective and high quality direct sourcing model. You will provide a dedicated end to end recruitment service for the GOC (Global Operations Centre) comprising mainly Helpdesk and Technical Support vacancies. You will oversee a portfolio of both contract and perm roles, working closely with local management and hiring managers to support the raising of job reqs and the approval process. You will take briefs from hiring managers to understand requirements, will create and launch recruitment campaigns, will create compelling job adverts and will have full responsibility for sourcing candidates directly, arranging and running assessment centres, supporting interviews and managing offers. The role will suit an experienced Recruiter who has previously worked in a fast paced environment, managing a high volume of open positions from cradle to grave. What we’re looking for in you: You will already have proven experience working in a busy recruitment team where you will be well versed in managing a high number of roles end to end (circa 30 positions at any one time), ideally with a technical and/or call centre specialism. You will ideally have worked within an in-house Recruitment/HR function where you’ll have gained relevant knowledge and understanding of business processes and partnering with HR teams. Experience managing high volume, fast paced recruitment campaigns and running assessment centres is essential, as is experience using recruitment sourcing tools. These include LinkedIn Recruiter, CV search databases, the Boolean search function, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) and recruitment CRM or ATS systems (ideally Workday – but this is not essential). You will be a self-starter and quicker learner; someone who realises requirements and picks up tasks without needing close supervision and direction. You will thrive in busy, fast paced environments which require innovative thinking, good problem solving ability and excellent communication skills. What you need to know: You will be employed on a 12 month FTC (fixed term contract) basis, in a full time role based from our office in Stockton-On-Tees (a 5 minute drive from the A19 or a 10 minute walk from Thornaby train station).
