Job Description

We are Recruiting on behalf of our Client a large Utilities company based in the North West. The role is for an Internal recruiter to help provide recruitment and selection advice and support in partnership with recruiting business managers, HR Business Partners and external consultants thereby supporting the attraction and appointment of a high calibre, committed and customer focused workforce. Accountabilities of role To work in partnership with recruiting business managers, HR Business Partners and external consultants to identify and hire the best candidate for the role. * To provide professional and timely advice and support to recruiting business managers and HR Business Partners on all aspects of recruitment e.g. applying knowledge of legislative compliance to actual business scenarios. * To advise recruiting managers on candidate availability in the market place, sourcing options and costs as well as company / market place initiatives taking into account the Company's Resourcing policy and own expertise in this field. * To provide guidance / training for managers on recruitment and selection policies and procedures to ensure the Company's legislative compliance. * Seek opportunity for continuous improvement to quality of service reducing time to fill vacancies, introduce candidate monitoring on vacancy performance and reviewing selection tools to ensure increased accuracy * To lead / project manage end to end campaign management for relevant business areas * Advise and agree with the recruiting manager the appropriate offer, taking into account such factors as internal and marketplace considerations, legal requirements and employing entity etc. * To produce accurate offers of employment within agreed SLA's and right first time. * To provide professional candidate management throughout the recruitment and selection process to ensure that every candidate has a positive and professional experience of our recruitment process * To ensure high levels of accuracy and data integrity to support MI reporting. * Actively engage in and contribute to any related ad-hoc / short-term project activity and future additional services, which are consistent with the nature and responsibilities of the role Knowledge and Skills Sound knowledge of broader HR practices and related UK Employment laws and regulations and the ability to apply that knowledge to 'real' business scenarios. * Experience of working with and influencing recruiting managers at all levels as well as third party agencies to ensure that our process is compliant and within legislative guidelines. * Use of the SAP system. * Strong customer focus * Proficient in the use of MS Office 2010 (Excel and Word) Desirable Criteria * Previous in-house or agency recruitment experience
