Are you an experienced recruiter from an IT or Engineering background wanting to work internally for a hugely successful technology company? telent currently have an opportunity available for maternity cover (initial 6 month contract, with the possibility of extension) – this is an excellent opportunity to work as an in-house recruiter with a collaborative team! Who is telent? * telent is a technology partner to some of the biggest names in the transport sectors including Network Rail, London Underground and Transport for London. We provide maintenance and management of our customers assets to ensure continued and reliable service is maintained for their critical communications infrastructure. You will play an important role in finding the right staff to make this happen! What will you be responsible for? You will be part of a dedicated team tasked with the delivery of a truly professional recruitment service; delivering the successful placement of highly skilled and technical roles to the Transport (Rail and Traffic) side of the business for both permanent and contract hires. * Build credible relationships with stakeholders and effectively communicate updates on vacancies * Conduct recruitment plan meetings with stakeholders when each new vacancy is released. * Source suitable candidates via most relevant channels which will include direct advertising; database searching and 2nd tier agencies. * Telephone screen applicants to capture essential information against pre-determined criteria. * When required; support Hiring Managers in face to face interviews with candidates. * Maintain and keep updated the candidate application tracking system (ATS). * Communicate potential offers with applicants and mange any potential risks. * Maintain 100% accuracy across reporting and all activities. * Assisting with inductions for new contract starters. * Make arrangements with stakeholders and candidates for all interview requests What experience is telent looking for? Previous, demonstrable In-house or Agency recruitment experience within an I.T. or Engineering environment. * Management of the delivery of multiple challenging roles at any one time in a fast- paced environment; from lower level technical roles to Senior Programme Management. * Credible communicator who can quickly build relationships with all stakeholders * Previous experience of using an ATS * Proven experience of filling both contract and permanent vacancies * Ability to function effectively in a complex, challenging environment. * Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
