Internal Recruiter – London – Graduate Academy Start Up – 20-25K DOE Sparta Global is an IT Graduate Academy that helps recent graduates progress into top tier companies. We hire recent university graduates and provide them with free, bespoke, training before finding them work with our clients across the UK. We love transforming bright graduates into high-calibre professionals and giving them the best start to their career Due to recent successes and outside investment we are looking for a new Internal Recruiter to join our Talent Team in Moorgate. We work closely with numerous universities and want to establish formal relationships between students and staff to help raise awareness of our career support programmes and Graduate Academy. You would be part of the Talent Team, helping to build our company presence and improve our service offerings to better guide recent graduates. You would have an important role within a team dealing with hundreds of recent graduates each year. The role is immediately available and has a flexible salary depending on your experience. The Role: The Internal Recruiter is responsible for identifying and building partnerships with university graduates and help recommend our in-house training academy to get them roles with our global clients; • Build relationships with current and new graduates, become a key point of contact and learn about what they need. Meet with them, introduce yourself and build a working relationship with them • How can we help them? How can they help us? – Think of creative ways to improve our bonds • Agree a timetable of support with grad fairs, meet-ups, Open Days, on-campus presentations etc • Use job boards to adverstise our junior IT roles (as well as the IT Academy itself) • Develop and manage our brand awareness amongst clients and university partnerships • Build effective marketing programmes to help position Sparta Global as a Grad employer of choice • Assist your Talent Team colleagues in running Assessment Days, attending national graduate fairs, hosting industry meet-ups, delivering university presentations etc • Track the success of our partnerships and keep accurate records to help guide our growth in positive ways What do we look for? • You need to be personable. You will go from giving recent graduates advice on life to discussing technical content with University lecturers. From guiding trainees through our academy to talking business with CIO’s at networking events. You need to be professional, approachable, adaptable and confident in yourself. • You need to be creative. We are a ever-changing business that focuses on continuous improvement driven by through data collection and innovative thinking. There are always ways to improve and everyone is encouraged to bring new ideas to the table. Your role will allow for considerable creative freedom and we want to help you develop this. • You need to be organised. There are Talent Team events going on every week so do not expect to be tied to a desk. You will need to plan ahead, allocate time, coordinate with multiple teams, track decisions and create reports on a regular basis. • You need to be open to learning new things. Anyone joining this team will find themselves learning so much about how universities operate, the fascinating IT industry, professional business development and life in general.
