An exciting opportunity has arisen at Liberty HR Recruitment for an experienced and driven Internal Recruiter to join our client’s fast-paced and people-focused organisation in Southampton. Working 37.5 hours a week, the Internal Recruiter will be working to source, attract and engage with the best talent on the market, ensuring our client emerges as the employer of choice within the sector.

The key responsibilities will be to source and attract talent using a variety of methods, including Social Media, Job Boards and through the attendance of Job Fairs. The successful candidates will create and adapt job advertisements, ensuring that all relevant legislation is adhered to s well as upskill hiring managers on recruitment, ensuring that all candidates receive a positive and consistent customer experience. It will be crucial to ensure that all candidates (both internal and external) are dealt with appropriately and according to our client’s high standards, in line with agreed SLA’s and to work alongside the Recruitment Administrator to ensure that successful applicants receive on-boarding and recruitment paperwork in a timely manner, to enable a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
The Internal Recruiter will also be expected to seek feedback from key stakeholders (both internal and external), to make any required improvements to the recruitment process and experience and produce reports for the Recruitment Manager/Leadership Team as and when required.
To be successful in this post, candidates should be enthusiastic about recruitment, with a keen desire to develop knowledge and skills in this space. An Inclusive mind-set and excellent verbal, written and numeracy skills are essential as is an attention to detail. The Internal Recruiter will have excellent organisational skills including an ability to manage time and prioritise effectively. Strong IT skills and being skilled in using Microsoft Word and Excel packages will be necessary as is being social media savvy. Naturally, applicants should be able to work independently and on their own initiative within specified guidelines or processes and able to organise and manage their own time and diary effectively, ensuring the business’ KPIs are adhered to.
Well-developed interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with colleagues at all levels is vital, as is the ability to work appropriately with confidential and sensitive information. Proven knowledge and experience in co-ordinating and running successful recruitment campaigns will be essential as will a natural resilience and the ability to work under pressure.
The salary offered for this position is in the range £26,253 to £28,932 per annum for 37.5 hours (Mon-Fri) and the post will be located in Southampton
