You enjoy international travel, speak more than 1 language and are willing to spend up to 12 weeks per year overseas. About Us We are a highly ambitious company specialising in Secondary Education. We currently provide International Admissions services to a number of UK boarding schools. Main Purpose of the Role To recruit international students for UK boarding schools. Contribute to the development of sales strategies and setting/reaching of sales targets for your specific region. They will liaise with the Recruitment Manager and Senior Staff to determine the range of services to be offered and will frequently counsel current and prospective students and their agents/parents. Frequent data/sales analysis and creation of marketing campaign proposals as required, the role will manage multiple agent relationships. You will work to achieve regional recruitment targets, which will involve extensive overseas travel on a regular basis. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Manage liaison with international recruitment agents, parents and pupils; organise International trips and recruitment activities and to develop marketing materials to promote the schools. 2. Responsible for enquiries from international parents and pupils for a range of courses. Respond appropriately to telephone, personal and e-mail enquiries. 3. Manage the admissions service, providing information and advice relating to courses on offer, arranging interviews and placement tests when required and processing individual enrolments for students. 4. Set up and maintain a computerised database of international student records, analysing data and producing sales reports. Liaise with and respond to queries from other departments. 5. Liaise closely with Student Activities Organiser and International Students’ Co-ordinator to ensure a positive experience for international students. 7. Manage the development of processes and systems in the International Office in order to improve competiveness in the UK Boarding School Sector. Qualifications/Experience * Educated to Degree Level or Above * Desired to have experience and proven success developing student recruitment Desired Knowledge * An understanding of International Recruitment * An understanding of the UK Education Sector * Fluent in English and knowledge of second language at professional working proficiency desirable. Skills and Competencies * Ability to interpret data and respond with changes to market plans * Excellent IT and word-processing skills * Strong and effective communication skills * Must be target focused * A sensitivity to the needs and concerns of international pupils and their parents * Cross-cultural awareness * Willingness to travel extensively overseas alone, whilst representing the school * Ability to multi-task and work under pressure * Ability to work independently and as one of a team * Ability to prioritise and manage own and others’ time, and work to deadlines in a methodical and accurate manner. * Ability to cope in a demanding but exciting environment * Self-motivated, proactive and committed
