Job Description

The University of Law is one of the UK’s leading providers of legal education and training, working right at the heart of the legal profession and with an impressive history going back to 1876. We bring together teaching of the highest quality, a focus on practical skills and innovative learning styles to deliver perfect preparation for life in legal practice and ongoing professional development. The University is in an ongoing, exciting period of growth and expansion with 2019 seeing us open two new campuses - Nottingham and Hong Kong - and further expanding our Business school offering both in the UK and in Berlin. Reporting to the Head of International Student Recruitment, the International Student Recruitment Officer will be responsible for reaching agreed revenue and student recruitment targets and would represent the University across key international student markets to build relationships and brand awareness of the University. The International Student Recruitment Officer is the direct University contact for key agents and extensive travel is involved participating in in-country conversion events and pre-departure events. The successful candidate will possess excellent time management and organisational skills with a track record of excelling within a target and results driven environment. You will be a polished communicator with excellent presentation and communication skills. The role will suit individuals with a strong track record in driving sales within an international context (previous higher education experience would be advantageous but not essential). For a confidential discussion and/or the further particulars, please contact our retained advisor Danielle Davies on (phone number removed). Some posts within the University are subject to a DBS check - you will be notified of this during the application process. As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons. However, as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) individuals are currently under-represented within the University – which does not reflect our diverse student body - we would particularly welcome applications from BAME candidates. All appointments will be made on merit. The Management Recruitment Group (MRG) has been exclusively retained for this campaign. All direct and third-party applications will be forwarded to MRG. Closing date for applications is midnight on Sunday 9th February 2020. c.£35,000 per annum
