INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURER for RECRUITMENT QUALIFIACTIONS The Company Solvo Vir is an innovative training provider that creates sector-specific training and apprenticeships to organisations and individuals across the UK. We act as a launch pad for skills projects, delivering accredited training that captures the imagination of both learners and employers. JOB PURPOSE To manage the programmes of individual learners to ensure that their learning needs are identified and met appropriately, that they are provided with the necessary training, support and assessment, and that their progress is monitored in order to achieve success within identified timescales. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Duties may include: Guiding and supporting assessors to ensure quality and consistency of assessment Conducting formative and sumative internal verification Monitoring and assessing assessor’s development and practice Acting as Internal Quality Assurer. Following the guidance issued by both the Awarding Body and Solvo Vir with regard to assessment practice and the completion of documentation. Demonstrating competence in the application of Health & Safety procedures, including the accurate and timely completion of all Health & Safety paperwork and records related to work-based learning programmes. Full compliance with Solvo Vir's Quality Assurance systems to ensure consistency and continuous improvement, liasing with appropriate Solvo Vir employees to ensure that systems in support of assessment, verification and additional support are fully implemented. Undertaking staff development appropriate to the contractual requirements of the post and the needs of the section. Completion of all paperwork required meeting audit requirements. Commitment to promoting equality and diversity. Any other duties as required by the line manager or Head of Department Experience and Skills: • Applicants must hold a recognised Internal Verifier award (D34 / V1/ IQA) • Have a positive approach to stakeholder management and expectations • Be able to drive KPIs within a team of IQAs • At least 12 - 18 months’ experience of working as an IQA • Proven experience as an IQA for Recruitment • Experience of coaching and developing remote assessors • Excellent knowledge of SFA funding compliance • English or Maths at level 2 • Experience of using e-portfolios
