IT Recruitment Consultant In order to assist us with both increasing demand and furthering our position in the marketplace, we require an experienced Recruitment Consultant and would consider someone with as little as 12 months experience in either sales/resourcing or IT. We must stress that we are an ethical, low-volume, high ratio team that have built relationships lasting decades based on trust and consistent results. About the role:- Each recruitment consultant manages the full 360 recruitment lifecycle from account management and winning new business, writing ad copy to interviewing and short-listing a small number of candidates through to negotiating and managing the offer acceptance. This is not just a sales role; it requires gaining and continually improving your understanding of trends within emerging technology and financial markets, enabling you to demonstrate credibility with high-level candidates and clients from the outset. Your background:- We do not take a cookie-cutter approach to selecting new recruitment consultants any more than we offer a tick box approach to recruitment. Potential applicants may have come from a variety of different backgrounds. For example: •Successful Recruitment Consultant that has had some time off to raise a family. •Successful Recruitment Consultant that would like to work part- time. •Recent graduates in IT with 12 months work experience in sales and/or marketing •Someone already successful in their field of sales or marketing who wants to work in a sophisticated marketplace, where positive ethics and long term relationships are valued and recognised as being key aspects of driving success and profitability. •Someone who can demonstrate a genuine desire to work within recruitment, with compelling reasons why, and the confidence and determination to succeed. Key traits and skills we look for:- •Exceptional communication skills – essential whether you are representing us on the telephone, by email , meeting or presentation •Inquisitive mind – There is always much to learn about people, clients, and an ever-evolving industry You will need to invest in understanding the needs of your candidates and clients •Ambition to succeed – we work very hard and sometimes long hours but have lots of fun at the same time.
