Job Description

Sales consultants are responsible for attracting candidates and matching them to temporary or permanent positions, projects and programmes with client companies. They work with client companies, building relationships in order to gain a better understanding of their recruitment needs and requirements. Job Description: • Cold Calling prospects, assessing prospective applicants and matching them with vacancies at client companies • Screening and short-listing candidates before clients meet them • Meeting targets for the number of vacancies taken or the number of people placed into jobs • Consultations with prospects for our clients • Making outbound calls to candidates • Monitoring your stats and targets Key Skills: • Somebody who is outspoken and confident • Good understanding of sales and networking • Knowledge on UK education • Demonstrate the potential to build and maintain professional relationships • Have good organisation skills and attention to detail • Demonstrate the ability to work at a fast pace • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen • Be ambitious and highly motivated • Demonstrate a willingness to learn to sell • Someone with good initiative and conversational skills • Self motivated and results driven • Excellent presentation Essential Criteria: • Good standard of secondary and college education, at least 5 GCSE’s above grade C (including Maths & English) AND A levels. • Previous experience in sales (MINIMUM of 6 months) • Demonstrate a high level of customer service and customer care • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written • Excellent interpersonal skills • Proficient in use of computers (word processing, spreadsheets, email and internet • Evidence of good organisational and time management skills • Ability to work flexibly to ensure business needs are met
