Job Summary Our logistics company is currently in need of an individual with a goal-orientated and self-motivated approach who is up for a challenge! The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining client relations and managing pools of candidates in the driving and warehousing sectors. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including handling customer bookings, dealing with reactive problems such as candidates not turning up for work and arriving late, as well as general issues throughout the day. You must be able to stay focused in a busy office environment. To be successful in this role you possess the following skills/qualities: * Proactive * Good communicator * People person and good man manager * Multi-tasker and prioritiser * Results driven and motivated to achieve the best * Problem solver and not scared of taking responsibility * Meet deadlines and working to plans and procedures * Highly organised and good with computers * Able to handle pressure Responsibilities and Duties FTS Group is a logistics and recruitment company. Our industry is a 24h industry, meaning our teams need to be able to respond to situations as they change, be proactive and have a “get the job done” mindset! This role is not suitable for individuals looking for a 9-5 desk job. We work in challenging environments with a positive outlook and good team rewards. As an Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for booking candidates out to work within our client pool, maintaining good relationships with clients, building trust with candidates, working together with colleagues in a pressured environment to get the job done. * You will be part of a Call Out rota (1 in 3 weeks) * Handling client bookings of driving/industrial candidates * Maintaining client relationships * Dealing with candidates with queries/concerns/problems/conflict * Liaising with other departments to achieve Operational goals * Keeping systems up to date to a high standard * Reporting to management Required Experience/Qualifications: * C+ in GCSE English, Science and Maths * Proficient computer user (Microsoft office, company systems) * Own car to commute to work * Previous experience in transport and/or recruitment is desirable but not essential
