Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Learner Recruitment Consultant for a well established Training Provider. The purpose of the role is to source new learners for programmes outside mainstream referral channels. Establishing relationships with local, regional, European social funded projects, local schools, voluntary sector programmes and community based facilities to attract new learners. To source new starts for programmes establishing relationships with local and national employers.The primary base is in Cardiff but the majority of the time will be spent on the road recruiting new learners and developing strong working relationships with stake holders. . Specifics • Identify, engage and recruit new learners • Using a variety of sales, business development and marketing techniques in order to attract new learners. • Working to key performance indicators • Establish new business and maximising on existing business partnerships for learner opportunities • Play an active part in the selling and endorsement of all training products and services to attract new learners • New learner generation, including sales calls, cold calling, mail shot activities and working within the community to engage with potential learners • Building effective relationships with employers • Building effective relationships with local schools and other relevant community based venues to attract new learners • Liaising with 3rd party organisations, partnership companies, charities, voluntary and educational networks as required. • Attending networking events as required • Arranging and attending promotional events to attract new learners and to raise the profile of the organisation as required • Actively sell, promote and raise awareness of the organisation and services offered • Establishing and maintaining excellent working relationship with all stakeholders, ensuring the best image of Itec is promoted at all times. • Conducting business meetings with local stakeholders on a regular basis • Maintain an awareness of changes in the local business market, identify new opportunities. • Work with the Business Development Executives passing on sales leads and new business opportunities • Build strategic relationships with Contract Managers, Centre Coordinators, Tutors and all other employees to ensure a seamless transition of new learners onto programme Experience & Qualifications: - Experience of working with young people and or vulnerable adults - Strong relevant local networks - Relationship management / customer services/sales - Strong presentation skills - Business development - Excellent persuasive and negotiating - Knowledge of safeguarding
