KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Work Based Learning and Welfare to Work sectors.   Job Title: Learner Recruitment Consultant (Apprenticeships) Location: Manchester Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 + Bonus   Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Mileage, Pension + More! Type: Full-time, Permanent KM Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a private Training Provider who is looking to appoint an experienced Recruitment Consultant, to recruit apprentices nationally for a variety of vocational training programmes. Key Duties: - Engage with local businesses to promote our clients range of services to include; the Apprentice Recruitment Service, Apprenticeships, Commercial Training and 24+ Loans in order to attract new business and place candidates into opportunities. - Employer engagement to generate Apprentice placement opportunities, objection handling and promoting the benefit of recruiting Apprentices. - Source and attract candidates (16-18) through a variety of methods including social media, advertising and referral partners. - Create and advertise vacancies based on employer requirements using NAS and manage the whole recruitment process for each candidate. - Maintain and build relationships with outside agencies, Schools and Connexions to generate and maintain a pipeline of learners. Attend job fairs and attend school visits when required - Keep up to date with competitor`s strengths and weaknesses, evaluating the market and scoping out new opportunities. - Report sales data and forecasts on a regular basis and meet month end sales deadlines. - Conduct screening/interviews to assess suitability, match candidate to client / vacancy, arrange interview with employer and deliver feedback in a timely fashion. - Work to monthly recruitment targets / KPI`s based on Apprenticeship starts . - Build and maintain relationships with employers and candidates. - Be constantly aware of competitors / changes in the local area. - Maintain the candidate / recruitment database. Essential Criteria: - Experience of Apprentice attraction and recruitment / placement. - Experience of Employer engagement, generating Apprentice placements / opportunities. - Experience of working towards targets and KPI`s. - Excellent understanding of Apprenticeships. - Excellent communication skills. - Strong administrative and organisational skills. - Possess a confident, friendly and professional manner. - Strong business acumen and the ability to forecast change.
