Role Overview • Ensure optimal demand and supply management for resources within a pre-defined business line. • Act as POC for Sales & Business Line Leads regarding new resource requirements, identifying and matching suitable resources to the inbound requirements • Use knowledge of clients and their capability requirements combined with an understanding of skills and career aspirations of individuals to make effective resourcing decisions. • Subsequently, briefing the Candidates ahead of Client conversations, providing honest and constructive feedback. • Act as the first point of contact for resourcing conflicts and issues, escalating to the Resource Manager where necessary • Update/Manage Systems to provide the broader business with insight into the daily changes and fluctuations. Your Key Responsibilities: • Ensure optimal demand and supply management for resource demand. • Manage shortages and complexities from demand requests • Source wider resourcing solutions to address fungible shortages and capacity • Escalate day to day resourcing challenges/issues as and when necessary • Challenge the commercial drivers of the resourcing decisions (Margin/Cost) • Champion the presentation of candidate profiles • Communicate commercial information to colleagues and management. • Regular stakeholder engagement • Understand skills landscape and escalate skill shortages/excess to Resourcing Manager • Inform Resourcing Manager of hot spots impacting short-term over or under supply of resources and execute actions to address within defined area. • Ensure Resourcing System is up to date at all times, reflecting currenting state with Resources proposed/assigned to consultants. Own the Resourcing stages within the Resourcing System for set client requirements, ensuring that process is followed step by step to allow for correct analysis/tracking at all times. • Ability to demonstrate business insight and a commercial awareness. • Ability to think quickly, work under pressure to meet competing demands • Confident and resilient to deal with challenges from candidates and clients. • Strong stakeholder management capability to effectively influence Sales, Directors and Management on Resourcing solutions • Exercises good judgement, knows when to flag issues and when to deal with independently
