Job Description

Taskmaster in Huddersfield are looking for 2 experienced Marketing, Recruitment and Events Assistants to commence a 3 month contract with the University of Huddersfield in January. Applicants will preferably have experience from the Higher Education sector. Job duties: 1. To contribute to the development of subject-based marketing and student recruitment activities 2. To assist with the organisation of school events, including applicant visit days, open days, UCAS fairs etc, ensuring a high standard of face to face customer service, and to undertake evaluation of each event to inform future activity. This may require some flexibility in working hours to include some evenings and weekends (please see the supporting information); 3. To assist with the production and distribution of School publicity materials, such as brochures, newsletters and profile videos. To monitor and maintain adequate stock levels of all School marketing materials to ensure effective support for activities. 4. To assist with the administration and support for School marketing and non-recruitment (e.g. cultural activities) related events, this might include setting up of booking systems via University and other electronic systems (e.g. Agresso or Eventbrite). 5. To maintain the School’s social media presence, including Twitter and Facebook, ensuring copy is up to date and relevant 6. To assist with the input of data onto the IPP system for University Course Finder entries. 7. To assist the School’s Web Officer with the maintenance and updating of the School’s webpages; ensuring that information is up to date and relevant in line with the School and University’s brand guidelines 8. To undertake appropriate staff development and keep abreast of marketing, recruitment and admissions information and developments; 9. To undertake any other duties pertinent to the grade of the post that might be requested at any time
