Pallet Network Recruitment Manager Midlands & South £40,000 FP/12818/PW Pallet Network Member Recruitment Manager - Based Midlands and South Job Purpose: The main purpose of the role is the general management of Pallet Members - developing their relationship with our Pallet Network client, identifying commercial opportunity with Members, supporting change and the recruitment of new Member depots to the network. Main Responsibilities and Duties: * Work closely with the Member Relations Director/Head of Network Recruitment to identify depots who require consolidation of their postcode area. * To negotiate the relinquishing of postcode area with depots. * Working with the Head of Network Services to help put in place postcode contingency plans. * To help identify financial, operational, and commercial risk to the Pallet Network * To source new member depots. * To present to and negotiate with potential members * To ensure new members are of the quality, operationally/ commercially and financially required by the Pallet Network * To ensure all financial checks have been completed by the Pallet Network accounts * To ensure Network Member Agreement (contract) between the Pallet Network and new member are completed * To work with Head of Network Services and Regional Operations Managers to support the new Member implementation plan. Other Requirements: The person holding this position must be able to communicate at all levels within the Pallet Network predominately at Director/senior level. Externally the person must be able to present/communicate/negotiate/influence at Director-level, as they are negotiating with existing Pallet Members, and recruiting transport companies of varying size and financial standing. Invariably you are presenting to the owner/MD/board etc. The person must be prepared to travel extensively within UK and work away from home on a regular basis. Person specification : Ideally CPC National, but not essential Good experience in a similar role or worked as a Transport Manager/Supervisor/Sales/Customer Service Up to date knowledge of transport best practice Good communicator Team player Excellent organisational skills Good listener Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Salary £40000 Company Car We regret that due to volume, only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
