KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Work Based Learning and Welfare to Work sectors.   Job Title: Placement Officer / Recruiter Location: Lowestoft   Salary: £10,000 - £12,000 (Based on 20 hours per week)   Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Mileage, Pension + much more!   Type: Part Time / Permanent - 20 hours (2.5 Days) per Week Duties: - Engage with local employers, networks and referral agencies to source unpaid/voluntary work placement opportunities for a caseload of learners undertaking traineeships and study programmes - in order for them to gain valuable work experience within their chosen vocation. - Attend meetings and maintain relationships with local employers to secure further opportunities for learners. - Source, set up and manage work placements for customers. - Generate a robust learner / vacancy referral system to meet targets. - Ensure learners are working in a safe environment - completing all relevant paperwork such as Health & Safety documentation and gaining proof of Employers Liability Insurance etc Essential Criteria: - Must have experience of carrying out employer engagement / recruitment activities on a face-to-face basis to secure opportunities. - Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle. - Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively. - Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people. - Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
