Job Description

Project Manager - Volume Recruitment Cabinet Office - London - Out of SCOPE £350/day Limited or UMBRELLA - 6-month contract - CTC Counter Terrorism Check Security Clearance. The focus of this role is to design a volume recruitment process and launch 1st cycle, working in partnership with the existing Recruitment Operations Manager. Full scope of role requires comms plan, identification of stakeholders, design and roll out. An effective volume model is required for Commercial Lead hiring, this will drive down recruitment cost and improve candidate experience. There is a requirement to submit fortnightly update reports for SLT. Timeline: Full Volume model to be designed and signed off in the first 3 months - presented no later to SLT than 3 months after joining. 3 monthly performance review of what has been achieved Months 4 & 5 to consist of at least 1 cycle of recruitment with the new volume approach. Month 6, lessons learnt exercise so improvements can be made to the original model. Role activities: Volume Model Work with resource to scope the desired outcomes of a volume approach. Design and test a volume approach, understanding full costs and benefits / challenges - leveraging existing ideas and suggesting alternative ways of operating. Design and execute comms strategy throughout the project lifecycle - e.g. gaining buy in from internal and stakeholders. Produce project plan, with regular check points, producing fortnightly progress summary to be reviewed monthly with Senior Management Team. Review benefits of Launchpad Execute 1st cycle of volume approach to enable an effective 'lessons learned' exercise.Talent Pool Work with resource to scope the desired outcomes of a Talent Pool approach Design and test a Talent Pool model understanding full costs and benefits - leveraging existing ideas and suggesting alternative ways of operating. Design and execute comms strategy throughout the project lifecycle - e.g. gaining buy in from internal & stakeholders. Produce project plan, with regular check points, producing fortnightly progress summary to be reviewed monthly with Senior Management Team.Merit List Approach Review current Merit List approach, key aims being ensuring compliancy / interacting fairly with departments / offering a good candidate experience. Design an approach (across all levels) that addresses point in 1) as well as improving time to hire. Essential experience: Demonstrable project management experience designing, developing and rolling out recruitment models for large organisations - ideally within Central Government/Public Sector. Strong communication and reporting skills. Excellent stakeholder management skills. Active CTC - Counter Terrorism Check security clearance
