Job Title: Recruiter (Business Development Support Officer) Responsible to: Head of Sales Location: Darlington-based Salary: £18,000 to £21,000 depending upon experience per annum Holiday entitlement: 25 days holiday p/a + 8 statutory days (+ 3 additional days for Christmas shutdown) Hours of work: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (flexibility required) Start Date: ASAP The Company: With more than 25 years’ experience providing award winning training, Nordic Focus Training Group brings together 'Nordic Pioneer' and Focus Training & Development', two hugely successful and highly respected national training providers, in a strategic partnership. By working closely with employers, we seek to understand company needs and help co-ordinate the workforce development through cost-effective training methods. Job Role Recruiter (Business Development Support Officer) required to recruit Apprentice learners & unemployed Candidates to vacancies generated by the Business Development Team and skills match suitable candidates to short-list for interview with clients using recruitment and selection short-listing methods. To manage vacancies and candidate databases with high level of accuracy and within agreed deadlines to meet the needs of the business. To liaise with clients and candidates to agree interview dates and provide timely updates and reports to departments. Main Duties: • Meeting agreed stated KPI’s during vacancy cycle • Work to strict deadlines with a sense of urgency • Build and grow a candidate portfolio through a variety of methods including, networking job centres, work providers, placing advertisements on job boards, social media, etc • Consistently update databases to ensure accurate retention of candidate information • Conduct 1st interview stage - may include a short telephone conversation with the applicant to clarify key points on CV. • Arrange the first interview (formal interview) face to face (where possible) to discuss relevant experience and key drivers and competencies • Arranging of interviews on behalf of our client • Providing feedback to successful / unsuccessful candidates • Working internally with colleagues to support and motivate each other on a daily basis • Build and maintain excellent relationships with our clients to ensure a seamless process • Build and maintain excellent relationships with Business Development Managers and the Delivery team • Carry out high volumes of outbound calls to meet business objectives Knowledge & Experience • Ability to demonstrate a high level of consistent target achievement within a revenue focused environment • Able to demonstrate self-motivation to improve knowledge and skills through personal research and development • Knowledge of key recruitment verticals is desirable although non-essential • All backgrounds will be considered from graduate caliber individuals through to sales professionals gained through experience • You must be self-motivated, goal orientated and a highly driven individual • Demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure Personal Characteristics • Self-motivated • Ability to manage own diary and caseload of employers and clients • Act with integrity, tenacity and transparency • Personable, confident with outgoing mannerisms • Driven and motivated to achieve agreed targets/ KPI’s • Capable of taking direction when needed but largely works in an autonomous and self-reliant fashion • Team player who can adapt well to working in a small office environment • Flexible approach to daily tasks; able to adapt to the business’ needs on an on-going basis.
