Sovereign & Bale are lookining for a Recruiter to recruit teenagers to join the NCS for an amazing opportunity. East Anglia (Essex, Hertfordshire, Thurrock and Southend on sea. With base office in Harlow) Must hold a driving license and have access to a car as travel across region required (no home working offered) Purpose NCS is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity open to 15, 16 and 17 year olds across England. It is a unique programme mixing fun, discovery and challenge, designed to build confidence and prepare young people for their journey into adulthood. The programme aims to create: A more cohesive society by mixing participants from very different backgrounds A more responsible society by supporting the transition into adulthood and the development of essential skills for employment (teamwork, leadership, communication) A more engaged society by enabling young people to work together to create social action projects in their local communities. Overview of Recruiter Role We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic recruiter who has a proven track record of hitting sales targets and has regularly been a top performer in their previous roles. You will be involved in a fast-paced sales based environment, recruiting young people on to the National Citizen Service (NCS) programme engaging with a socially diverse mix of 15,16 & 17 year olds. Reporting into the Regional Recruitment Manager, you will be excepted to meet targets in relation to the number of young people expressing an interest and subsequently signing up as a result of your recruitment events via assemblies, stalls, careers events, parent’s evenings, youth club events etc. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven target exceeder to who has both a passion for sales and creating life changing opportunities for young people. Accountabilities To meet targets set by Regional Recruitment Manager for each NCS recruitment campaign Ability to present to large audiences of young people creating enthusiasm and a passion to take part in NCS via schools, colleges and youth group events Ability to deliver strong sales pitches when working on recruitment stalls to sell the NCS experience to young people Build and maintain relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders including teachers, parents/guardians, community leaders, governors etc in order to gain support for NCS Proactively identify new opportunities to recruit young people onto the programme Ability to adapt presentation style to a varied audience Ability to work with young people during delivery of the summer NCS programme Knowledge Sales experience within a target environment, demonstrating when you have been a top performer Public speaking experience Driving license and access to car Ability to build a quick rapport with people (including young people, stakeholders and parent/guardians) Essential Competencies An energetic, enthusiastic and persuasive personality A hunger for success! Strong communication skills both in a 1-1 and group settings with people from varied backgrounds Possess excellent time management, administration and problem solving skills Ability to work as part of a team towards individual and team targets Accurate data inputting Must be flexible to travel across the region as and when required
