Job Description

A leading charity are looking for a Recruitment Administrator to assist the Recruitment Team within a varied and rewarding role. This role will be a temp-to-perm position, Monday - Friday, paying £10p/hr and then £18,500p/a (once the position is permanent). Due to the nature of the business, you will be required to hold an Enhanced DBS check - this can be one you already hold, if still in date, or the client will process a new one on your behalf. Key Responsibilities; * Work closely with the Recruitment team to deliver all recruitment related administration * Assist hiring managers with the set-up of interviews, including liaising with candidates on the telephone to arrange interviews * Book interview rooms and book visitor parking spaces for candidate interviews * Set up new starters onto the HR and payroll system and create new starter files * Handle all administration associated with DBS checks for candidates under offer of employment * Handle all administration associated with pre-employment checks, to include references and occupational health * Work with the Learning & Development Administrator to ensure that appropriate induction arrangements are in place for new starters * Build strong internal and external relationships and provide a first class, added value service to your internal customers. The Ideal Candidate Will Have; * A 'level or equivalent desirable but not essential * Experience within an HR or recruitment agency environment is desirable * Sound administrative experience * Ability to develop and maintain information systems * Experience of working with databases and updating tracking spreadsheets * Excellent communication skills (oral and written), demonstrable with internal and external customers * Ability to work with high volume activity and working under pressure * Strong planning and organisational skills * Proven team player * Good working knowledge of Microsoft office e.g. Word, Excel & Outlook and willingness to learn new systems If you feel you have the experience and qualities to go forward for this role, please apply or contact Pier Recruitment does not discriminate on the grounds of 'protected characteristics' as defined under the Equality Act and other relevant UK legislation.
