Recruitment Advertising Sales Executive / Media Sales Location: Oxford Circus, London Salary: £24,000 to £28,000 basic (1st Year £48k OTE, 2nd year £62k OTE uncapped!) Full Induction and Training given Established in early 2012 and based at Oxford Circus, London, our Client currently publish 16 regional newspapers per month, as well as running a highly trafficked and influential website. They have seen phenomenal growth over the past 3 years and are looking to expand their sales team with a driven, dynamic, and trustworthy individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment. They recently launched a new jobs platform to better serve their current clients needs but also expand the business to provide local and national companies a chance to feature on the jobs platform. This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team within a larger publishing company. For a successful candidate who gets on well there is the chance to progress into a team manager or even the head of this new department. They work with tier one brands and media agencies. Recent clients include Tesco, Deliveroo, The RAF, JD Sport, Asos, Red Bull and O2. The Role You will be allocated a sector to work with and targeted with contacting and signing up local and national brands to feature any positions they have available. You will also be working directly with the company director to build and grow the jobs platform. You will be expected to hit financial goals but for anyone with experience it offers a great chance to develop and growth with the company while making good money. You will be able to earn commission from the start and would be expected to earn £2,000 per month on top of your basic after 3 months in the role You will be expected to have had experience in the jobs or media sales industry. You will be expected to have had experience working for an online job board or experience selling recruitment advertising What we want from you The successful candidate will: Possess a strong work ethic Be confident at calling Have a strong results orientation, with the commitment and drive to achieve a new business goal in a demanding and competitive business environment Be passionate about closing business, with a "can do" attitude and ability to work independently when needed Possess excellent communication skills (listening, questioning, written and verbal) Have excellent telephone skills; successful candidates will feel comfortable building rapport, developing business relationships and demonstrating products over the telephone High level of business awareness to help build credibility with the prospect, spot potential opportunities within a peer group or industry sector.
