Recruitment Advisor - UKAEA. Culham, Oxfordshire Do you have in-house Recruitment or HR experience? Do you have Visa application knowledge? Are you organised, flexible and have first class communication skills? Would you enjoy a diverse role and the opportunity to work alongside various departments? UKAEA is the home to JET (the Joint European Torus) and MAST-U (Mega Amp Spherical Tokamak - Upgrade), with plans to operate both experiments in this year. In your role you will be a key support to the internal recruitment team. You'll be accountable for: * Assisting in the process of CoS applications for candidates who require a visa to work for UAKEA, ensuring all information required for the RMLT meets the requirements. Keep guidance and processes up to date and in line legislation. * Advising and supporting hiring managers on a wide variety of aspects within the recruitment cycle, ensuring best practice and compliance at all times. * Acting as the independent/HR representative in interviews supporting all departments, ensuring good practice, awareness of any bias and good behavioural interviewing techniques. * Pay negotiations (within set framework) with new candidates at point of job offer, selling the benefits and responding to a broad spectrum of queries, liaising proactively with the Recruitment Manager / HRBPs / Pay and Reward * Support the Recruitment Manager in the management/relationship of the online recruitment system, resolving issues and ensuring prompt resolution. Help to identifying and work to improve the feedback on the system is passed on. Responsible for ensuring that candidate records within the system are managed in line with data protection requirements. * The development and improvements of recruitment processes and procedures to ensure efficiency, compliance and fairness. You'll need: * Excellent communication skills - written and verbal * Knowledge of recruitment related employment law and best practice * Experience of coordinating in-house/agency recruitment campaigns for multiple roles. * Supporting/coaching hiring managers * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills * Experience of working with/coordinating an Applicant Tracking System It would be helpful if you have: * Certificate in HR Practice/CIPD Foundation award in Resourcing Talent or equivalent formal qualifications * Knowledge and experience of assessment tools and methods - All employees working at the UK Atomic Energy Authority will be required to complete an online Disclosure Certificate application as part of their clearance - The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks will show the details of all current criminal convictions (convictions considered unspent under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974) or will confirm that there are no such convictions.
