We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Recruitment and Retention Advisor to work for a regional training provider based from home covering the Worcester / Gloucester regions. The principal purpose of this role is to take responsibility for the recruitment and retention of learners on behalf of our client. The role will include generating employer vacancies and the recruitment and selection of candidates (specifically in the 16-18 age group) to fill vacancies and to provide effective guidance to learners. Key responsibilities: Ensure all employer vacancies are filled within agreed timeframes Optimise the volume of banked learners, and learners applying for Apprenticeships, and other programmes as applicable Identify employer vacancies and employed status apprenticeship opportunities. Monitoring learners at risk of leaving and implement appropriate intervention strategies Ensure relevant sections of Ofsted’s Common Inspection Framework are observed within the recruitment process. ·Engage with target groups of learners (specifically 16-18 year group) throughout a broad geographical area ·Advertise new vacancies on the system and manage applications ·Effectively interview and screen potential learners ensuring observation of relevant areas of Ofsted’s Common Inspection Framework ·Create networks with key stakeholders to create continual referrals of new learners ·Co-ordinate groups of learners for training and/or induction ·Ensure sufficient applicant volumes to fill employer vacancies ·Liaise with external agencies to source suitable applicants to fill employer vacancies ·Ensure compliance with the learner initial assessment and completion of paperwork ·To promote vacancies generated by the Employer Engagement team and generate vacancies where applicable ·Liaise with external agencies and maintain effective working relationships for recruitment of candidates ·To work with curriculum teams to identify and support students who are ‘at risk of leaving’ Requirements: ·Experience in giving advice on and dealing with welfare issues ·Experience of recruiting learners to funded programmes Experience working with and supporting young people ·Working Knowledge of Ofsted’s Common Inspection Framework ·Full level 3 qualification ·Level 3/4 IAG qualification ·Driver and own transport Benefits: ·Permanent Health Insurance ·Bonus Scheme ·Private Medical Insurance ·Mileage .45 paid from home or nearest centre
