Sales support and Administrator trainee About the company: With over 40 years’ experience within the construction industry and now 23 offices in major cities across the UK our client is a well-established and success recruitment agency. Each office prides themselves with their local knowledge of both candidates and clients and bespoke tailored service. With director’s present in each office they are all independently run with hands on management training and all uphold a reputable group ethos. Dur to the new government supported “traineeship scheme” we are looking to give someone an opportunity to learn all the aspects of recruitment from an entry level and join our successful team in Southampton. The job role and the desk: The role will be being part of a busy, fast paced team working with and supporting consultants to identify and fill live job roles using a range of techniques and processes. This will include speaking to the public and training will be provided to develop good communication, organization and general administrative skills. Expected duties: * Advertise live roles by drafting and placing adverts on multiple job boards * Using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates * Deal with advert response * Source and head hunt candidates * Make outbound calls to candidates to find out availability, generate leads and qualify for roles * Learn and develop a good understanding of candidates, their roles and responsibilities and duties * Fully register candidates checking references, checking qualifications and adhering to compliance. * Learn and use the database to update candidate availability, records and contact history * Answer the phone, take messages and transfer calls to the right consultants * Deal with admin and office systems Essential Qualifications/Experience required: The position is suited to someone motivated, hardworking and confident who is looking to start a progressive career. They must have excellent communication skills including telephone manner and IT skills and the right aptitude and attitude.
