An opportunity has arisen within our Recruitment team for an experienced in-house recruitment professional to join us as Recruitment & Engagement Assistant. The ideal candidate for this position will be self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, in the delivery of a proactive, efficient and comprehensive Recruitment service to stakeholders, responsive to changes in current recruitment trends. Promoting excellent standards of customer service at all times. This is a varied role encompassing administrative tasks such as referencing and DBS checks, through to recruitment planning for events and campaigns, with everything in-between including, placing advertisements, resourcing, sifting candidates and monitoring success of campaigns through databases and spreadsheets working closely with the Recruitment & Engagement Manager to overcome challenges. As such, you will possess a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks, including, but not limited to the preparation of offer letters, contracts of employment and job advertisements, combined with an organised yet flexible approach to managing a high volume workload. You will also be responsible for undertaking right to work checks, as required for Non-EEA national employees across the group, maintaining in-house systems, tracking visa expiry dates and other relevant information such as, student working hours, ensuring our ongoing compliance. It is desirable for applicants to possess a Level 3 Certificate in Human Resources Practice or equivalent qualification, alongside at least two years’ experience within a similar recruitment role. You will additionally have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. It is desirable that you have experience of working with Applicant Tracking Systems. This position will require occasional travel across the UK, in support of recruitment related activities (e.g. job & careers fairs, recruitment open days and meetings), therefore it is essential that you possess a full driving license which allows you to drive in the UK, alongside your own transport insured for business use.
