Job Description

Hull College Group is one of the largest further and higher education colleges in the country, offering over 1000 courses to students every year. We are currently looking to recruit a Recruitment and Progression Manager to join us to plan, co-ordinate and manage a programme of internal and external progression and outreach activities to support the Group’s recruitment drive. This is a part time role covering 17.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Working with colleagues in the HE Faculties to promote opportunities for progression at all levels of FE through to HE, you will lead on the design, development and delivery of activities to promote recruitment and progression to Higher Education and to support students to make informed choices about higher-level study. Providing a central focus for the planning and management of progression activities and evaluating their impact, you will contribute to the development of curriculum and the approval of new awards to support transition into Higher Education. With knowledge and empathy with the issues of widening participation and inclusiveness in Higher Education and experience of managing projects to tight timescales, candidates should have experience of engaging prospective students into HE.
