Recruitment and Retention Manager Sector: Healthcare Location: Thurrock, however home working will be considered due to covid (You must have a confidential home area) Parking: On site Band: 6 Job Type: 1 Year Maternity cover Salary: £30,401 - £37,890 Days and Hours: Full time Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week Duties include: * Responsible for the day to day management of the retention and recruitment function, ensuring that processes and systems are adhered to in accordance with Trust Policy and Procedure and employment best practice and legislation * Responsible for developing innovative processes and tools that meet the requirements of the organisation and current trends in the employment and retention of staff * Be proactive in the provision of complex advice and support to all prospective candidates and managers within the Trust on all aspects of retention and recruitment, working autonomously making decisions and judging when to escalate higher * To develop and implement the retention and recruitment action plans for the Trust, aligning these to national and regional initiatives * Manage and oversee the computerised HR/Recruitment systems linking/transferring to use with the Electronic Staff Records * Support the Head of Resourcing with international recruitment initiatives. 3. To chair and facilitate team meetings, ensure staff have regular 1:1 supervision sessions and support * Responsible for the development and implementation of any new recruitment initiatives, or changes to current processes and providing the appropriate support and guidance to the recruitment team leader and managers within the Trust * To devise, plan and implement development plans for the retention/recruitment function. * To monitor and evaluate on a regular basis during supervision * Provide support and advice to managers on their workforce needs and where to advertise posts as and when necessary. * Co-ordinate and arrange retention and recruitment related events and presentations on behalf of the Trust.
