Job Title: Recruitment & Sales Manager Location: East Midlands Region / East of England Region Salary £ 26,000 - £28,000 Purpose of role: To manage the regional recruitment team to deliver performance targets • Lead the regional recruitment teams to deliver agreed financial and performance targets • Provide direction, communicate goals and agree delivery strategies with regional teams • Ensure the Etrack MIS and learner management system is fully utilised to manage and monitor leads and staff performance to maximise productivity and quality and increase efficiencies • Develop and maintain relationships with key regional employers • Additional Key Accountabilities: • Ensure compliance to funding body and other client contracts and to external assessment and quality procedures, including awarding organisations for ISO, Matrix, TQS, IiP and Ofsted • Ensure the region complies with all internal and external procedures and quality measures • Recruitment & selection of staff in line with company HR and Safeguarding procedures • Ensure relationships are developed with schools, careers services and local organisations to maximise funding for 16-18 year olds • Recruit and maintain a professional team through effective performance reviews and deal with any issues of underperformance • Ensure Babcock Equality, Diversity and Welfare policies and procedures are followed at all times • Ensure Babcock Health and Safety policies and procedures are followed at all times • Budget / Cash Management Responsibility: • Reporting and forecasting against budget in accordance with Babcock corporate governance • Applies flexibility, imagination, innovation and creative problem solving techniques • Competent at interpreting a wide range of financial information and the ability to use this information drive results Technical Skills / competencies: • Proven track record of consistently achieving financial and performance targets • Experience of managing across a variety of occupational sectors • Demonstrates a high level of organisational skills and financial awareness • Strong customer relationship development skills • Effective management of resources • Experience of managing people • Key Behavioural competencies: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent problem solving/decision making skills • Strong leadership skills • Clear proactive approach to planning in order to achieve results • Encourages and supports others to give their best; understands how different people are motivated and acts accordingly Key competencies: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent problem solving/decision making skills • Strong leadership skills • Clear proactive approach to planning in order to achieve results • Encourages and supports others to give their best; understands • Key Analytical Skills and Challenges / competencies: Qualifications: • General certificate in education • Industry related qualifications such as Degree, HND, or NVQ’s are desirable Productivities/Deliverables: • Delivery against budgetary and contractual starts targets • Growth of the provision within the region • Achievement of key performance indicators • Managing the function in line with the Group’s corporate governance policies, processes and procedures Security Offers of employment are normally subject to satisfactory references and any other required pre-employment checks.
