Recruitment and Sales Manager (Maternity Cover) Salary: £ 26,000 Location: North East/Yorkshire and Humberside Babcock is the largest private sector provider of government funded Apprenticeship in the UK and provides work-based learning in many sectors including hospitality, retail, and customer service, business admin, automotive and engineering. Purpose of role: To manage the regional recruitment and sales team to deliver performance targets Top 4 Major Tasks and Activities: • Lead the regional sales teams to deliver agreed financial and performance targets • Provide direction, communicate goals and agree delivery strategies with regional teams • Ensure the Etrack MIS and learner management system is fully utilised to manage and monitor leads and staff performance to maximise productivity and quality and increase efficiencies • Develop and maintain relationships with key regional employers • Ensure compliance to funding body and other client contracts and to external assessment and quality procedures, including awarding organisations for ISO, Matrix, TQS, IiP and Ofsted • Ensure the region complies with all internal and external procedures and quality measures • Recruitment & selection of staff in line with company HR and Safeguarding procedures • Ensure relationships are developed with schools, careers services and local organisations to maximise funding for 16-18 year olds • Recruit and maintain a professional team through effective performance reviews and deal with any issues of underperformance • Ensure Babcock Health and Safety policies and procedures are followed at all times Key Technical Skills / competencies: • Proven track record of consistently achieving financial and performance targets • Experience of managing across a variety of occupational sectors • Demonstrates a high level of organisational skills and financial awareness • Strong customer relationship development skills • Effective management of resources • Experience of managing people Qualifications: • General certificate in education • Industry related qualifications such as Degree, HND, or NVQ’s are desirable Security Offers of employment are normally subject to satisfactory references and any other required pre-employment checks.
