Job Description

We are delighted to be working closely with a successful Homecare business based in Chingford that deliver premier quality care to recruit for an experienced Recruitment & Training Coordinator. The company truly care about quality and offer a minimum of one hour per home visit to allow their Care Givers to build on-going relationships with the clients and helps promote companionship. They are currently looking to recruit a Recruitment & Training Coordinator to recruit new Care Givers and to lead staff training and ensure the highest levels of quality and compliance across their service. Working closely with the Registered Manager the Recruitment & Training Coordinator will focus on the development of the staff team leading induction training for all new staff, and ongoing training for existing employees. You will oversee quality and compliance in relation to customer care, ensuring adherence to company policies, processes and evidence-informed best practice. The ideal candidate could be currently working as a Care Coordinator, Training Manager, Assessor, Trainer, Compliance Officer, Learning and Development, Quality Manager, Nurse, Deputy Manager. Our clients aim is to provide our customers and their loved ones with the highest standards of care and support; whilst providing a professional and supportive environment for our employees. Duties would include: * Regularly review quality check reports, bringing any concerns to the attention of the Registered Manager; * Co-ordination of the organisation’s induction training programme and other training within our portfolio; * Manage the recruitment of new applicants and help pre-screen their suitability for the job * Implementation of all staff’s PDP’s as agreed by the Registered Manager during individual staffs’ appraisals; * Develop and implement tailored training pathways, responding to individual staffs’ needs; * Manage the company’s compliance register, ensuring all staff remain compliant in accordance with company policy in respect of training and registration * Supervise a small team of senior care workers tasked with carrying out quality checks on staff; ensuring quality checks adhere to agreed best practice; and Skills / Requirements: * NVQ Level 3 or above in health and social care. * Full UK Driving Licence * Experience of working in Domiciliary Care as Recruitment & Training Coordinator would be of advantage although our client is open to other care and compliance backgrounds. * Highly organised with a meticulous approach to detail * The ability to reinforce and maintain a customer service culture. * Strong people management skills. * Strong communication, relationship building and influencing skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work effectively in a team and under own initiative. * Adaptable approach to problem solving. * Experience of working in a fast-past operations environment. * Proficient in MS packages which include, Word, Excel * Ability to develop and maintain strong and productive relationships with key external stakeholders.
