Job Description

Our client is a Wokingham based organisation, providing accommodation and person centred support up to 50 clients, some living in their own home, some in supported living facilities. The people they support have varying needs including physical disabilities, learning disabilities and/or autistic spectrum disorder. They are currently looking for a full-time Recruitment and Training Coordinator to join their team based in their office in Wokingham. This might suit someone who has worked in the field of learning disabilities but would like to move into an office based role. Main responsibilities will include the sourcing and interviewing of candidates as well as carrying out all pre-employment checks. The successful candidate will also conduct personal development reviews and arrange training for existing staff. The office team share on call duties for the organisation so this will form part of this particular role too. Requirements: * Previous experience in learning disabilities and challenging behaviour * Drivers with UK driving licence * Previous experience in Recruitment desirable * Good administrative and IT skills * The willingness to develop in the role and undertake regular training * 37.5 hours per week including some weekends * On call duties (1 week every 6 weeks) Benefits: * Competitive pay rate plus extra payment for on call * 28 days holiday entitlement, including Bank Holidays * Excellent training and self- development opportunities * To be part of a person centred and family-like organisation where staff are valued Please get in touch with us if you are interested
