Job Description

Recruitment and Training Team Leader I am currently recruiting for a Recruitment and Training Team Leader based in Tamworth, you will be managing a team of 4 you will be responsible for the recruitment, training and compliance of our self-employed driver fleet. We are looking for someone to join the team who can • Manage, Coach and develop the Team to ensure the team delivers within requirements of their roles, Including sickness management, performance management and holiday approval • Ensuring a proactive approach identifying and dealing with potential issues before they occur • Ensuring the effective selection, recruitment and successful integration into the company of appropriate levels of self- employed driver resource in accordance with business objectives • Management of driver resource records to ensure compliance in accordance with business objectives • Ensuring appropriate skill sets and training of driver fleet is done to satisfy requirement of the changing business needs Duties & Responsibilities • Effective recruitment, management and retention of self-employed driver fleet levels in accordance with business targets • Maintenance of the self-employed courier fleet ensuring continued compliance with company standard, customer requirement and current legislation • Ensuring appropriate training and compliance of self-employed drivers • Evaluation and reporting of departmental performance statistics; effective communication of results and proposals for corrective action • Ensure correct drivers are delivered to the correct areas with the correct compliance and skills to work. • Management of Department Budget • Timely reporting of Resources developments including vehicle pipeline activity. • Control, maintenance and audit of driver uniform ordering process and stock control • Cost effective order and issue of new and replacement standard driver equipment • To provide any applicable driver training and support as required. Effective liaison and communication with other departments and team • Grow a driver pipeline • Developing excellent and trusting relationships with colleagues to understand hiring requirements • Tracking and reducing current time to on-board drivers • Reducing agency spend and evaluating and maximising advertising spend • Running Social Media and Internal hiring campaigns • Reporting on performance results of the team Applicant Criteria • Previous recruitment experience necessary • Previous experience managing a team necessary with strong leadership skills • Strong work ethic giving full attention to detail and accuracy • Proven knowledge and experience of various means of recruitment methods • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at any one time • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills • Experience in delivering and preparing presentations and training material • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills • Able to work with all levels of people • Be able to demonstrate experience working in a fast paced ever changing environment. • Excellent personnel skills with strong rapport building abilities • Strong administration and telephone skills • Experienced working to a budget • Some sales experience desired • Previous experience recruiting self-employed personnel desired If you are interested in this position apply now or call Ella for more information on (phone number removed)
