Our client is the UK’s largest provider of skills, training and employment services, they are looking for a Recruitment Assessor to join their team, covering the Avon area. Your role as a Recruitment Assessor, is to help inspire learners to realise their potential as you support, advise and guide them through their apprenticeship training and assessment. Delivering a professional, high quality service to our learners is key and is underpinned by quality procedures and Awarding Body requirements. MAIN DUTIES: Responsible for supporting learners through their specific apprenticeship training and assessment. To provide learners with impartial information, advice and guidance to help them make informed decision to help achieve their goals. Observing and assessing candidates in the workplace and providing feedback and guidance to ensure the learning standards are met. To keep accurate reports and learner records. Maintain own continuous professional development To ensure that the Recruitment Qualification / Framework delivery is planned to meet the Company’s income target and contract. To ensure that learners complete their qualification within contracted timescales by applying effective time management systems for the learner. Prepare, agree and review assessment plans with each learner, create learner portfolios to agreed standards and ensure they are completed in a timely manner Examining candidate’s portfolio of evidence and ensuring all standards are met. Setting further objectives to ensure standards are achieved. Signing off the award when all the achievements have been met. Fully comply with all aspects of the Prevent Duty and promote British values in all that we do. SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE: To be successful as a Recruitment Assessor you must be approachable, self-motivated and possess high levels of empathy. You must be an excellent negotiator and able to use your initiative to solve problems, often involving different stakeholders. We are looking for people who have worked in the Recruitment Sector or have previous assessor experience. As a remote worker it’s critical that you’re able to manage your time and diary effectively, and can work independently and flexibly, responding positively to change. As you will be visiting learners at various companies in your local area it is essential you have a driving license and access to your own vehicle. You must be comfortable working with a range of IT packages so that you can access and utilise the technology available. You’ll be required to support learners to achieve a level 2 qualification in Maths and English so you must be able to demonstrate this level of competence yourself. Salary is £20k - £25k
