Job Title: Recruitment Assistant Location: Manchester Salary: Competitive + Benefits We’re looking for an enthusiastic Recruitment Assistant to join our Resourcing Team in our Manchester office on a permanent full-time basis. The role is focused on the administration and organisation of the full lateral hire and recruitment life cycle, as well as our emerging talent programmes. You will be joining our supportive and friendly HR team who are focused on providing the best possible service to our clients, both internal and external. We are looking for someone who is a team player with the ability to be solution-focused and stay organised under pressure. You will also have previous work experience in Recruitment (6 months minimum). Recruitment Assistant - Our Team and What We Do: Our UK HR team consists of our core generalist HR team (responsible for our UK fee earners, support staff and secretarial staff populations), Recruitment, Projects, Learning & Development, Payroll and Rewards & Benefits. The Resourcing Assistant will report to the Resourcing Manager, but also with the wider HR team. Recruitment Assistant - Our Opportunity: Reporting to the Resourcing Manager, you will provide high quality support throughout the recruitment life cycle. You will provide excellent administrative and advisory support, such as arranging interviews, managing the applicant tracking system, providing feedback to candidates and producing offer letters. It is fair to say that you can expect a varied workload and no two days will be the same! You will also work closely with the Emerging Talent Advisor to support on our emerging talent programmes. Tasks will include screening graduate applications, answering graduate inbox queries, organising assessment days and arranging attendance at law fairs.  In addition, you will support the pastoral graduate process. Due to the busy and proactive nature of this role, you will begin building lasting relationships both externally and internally, so you must have good interpersonal skills and be eager to be a valued part of a team. Recruitment Assistant – You: You will have previous experience of working in a Resourcing Assistant position, ideally within a professional services environment. Experience working with Microsoft Word and Outlook is essential, and experience of working with PowerPoint, Excel and an applicant tracking system is desirable. You will be used to working in a busy environment where you have to deal with multiple competing demands and tight deadlines. You will have the ability to organise, communicate effectively and work on your own initiative, whilst knowing when to seek guidance and supervision. You will need to be confident and have great interpersonal and communication skills, which will allow you to work well within this team.
