School House is a small, friendly recruitment specialist operating in the education sector. We work closely with primary schools in the South Yorkshire and North East Derbyshire areas, helping them to find the best teachers for their pupils and are proud to be holders of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation Gold Award for recruitment excellence. We currently have a rare opportunity for someone to join us as a Recruitment Assistant/Resourcer as the number of schools we support continues to grow. Main duties will include:- -Writing and placing job adverts -Pre-screening interested candidate over the telephone -Arranging and conducting interviews with short-listed candidates -Completing comprehensive pre-employment checks -Liaising with clients and candidates via telephone and email throughout the recruitment process The person we are looking for will have a good standard of education with GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C or above, a confident and friendly telephone manner and excellent I.T. skills. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage although not essential as full and comprehensive training is provided. A Full UK Driving licence would also be useful. Flexibility is possible in relation to the daily hours i.e. full or part-time, although interested candidates should ultimately be available to work Monday to Friday, and there are reduced working hours during school holidays. The position is to start as soon as possible but we understand that interested candidates working currently may be required to work a notice period. So, if you like the idea of going back to school (well sort of anyway), then we would really like to hear from you! Interested candidates should email their current CV and salary expectations asap. Alternatively, anyone wishing to have a confidential discussion about the role and possible hours first, should contact Lucy at the Sheffield office
