Mears have an opportunity for a Recruitment Co-ordinator to join our company. The Recruitment Co-ordinator will become a key part of the team ensuring sufficient quality Care Workers are recruited in a timely manner adhering to employment law and compliance at all times. You will be responsible for recruiting Care Workers for the Carlisle and Workington Branches and Wigton Extra Care Scheme. **Duties will include:** * Working alongside the Branch and Care Managers and Specialist Recruiter to identify requirements are met in order to grow the business. * Monitor applicants coming through via an online recruitment system and respond in a timely manner. * Pre-screen and interview candidates in line with Mears policies and guidelines and employment legislation. * Book candidates onto the Pre-employment assessment workshop * Process all pre-employment checks to ensure applicants are fully compliant before commencing work. * Arrange office inductions and shadow training and act as a buddy/mentor * Use any available opportunities to promote our Recruitment Opportunities * Take part in recruitment events such as Open Days, Jobs Fair * Input new starter information onto the Cold Harbour System to ensure accurate payment of wages. **The successful Recruitment Co-ordinator will have:** * Previous experience in Recruitment or office administration role would be advantageous * Ability to communicate with people at all levels * Excellent IT skills * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy * Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure, which will be paid for by Mears Mears promotes diversity and is an Equal Opportunities employer
