Job Description

Cityworx are recruiting a Recruitment Consultant on behalf of a leading care provider in the Cosham, Portsmouth area. Recruitment consultants provide a vital link between clients and candidates. The role is demanding, diverse and involves but is not limited to: • using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking in order to attract new business and new clients whilst developing existing. • visiting clients where required to build and develop relationships; • developing a good understanding of clients, what they do, the healthcare industry, their work culture and environment; • acting as first point of contact for clients, accurately recording their expectations for the position, the salary and benefits offered, and the responsibilities of the role; • advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media, for example newspapers, websites, magazines, etc; • Working with the organisation to utilise/job boards/social media etc to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates and employers; • headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work; • using candidate databases to fulfil more vacancies or shifts; • receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews, relevant tests and creating a bank of staff for your workforce reservoir; • requesting references, monitoring training and checking the suitability of applicants, before taking their application any further; • briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, pay rates and benefits of the job in question; • negotiating all the Terms and Conditions between candidates and clients prior to the start of their employment in agreement with HQ guidelines. • working towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated; • reviewing recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes; • Professionally welcoming staff and visitors to the office; • manage and communicate business diary effectively • Adhere to office systems/processes and quality standards as directed; take part in the business on-call on a rostered basis and in line with the requirements of the business. • assist other members of the team and carry out general administration duties as requested; • Good standard of general education • Administration experience • Competent IT user with MS Office • Self-starter with high personal energy • High level customer service skills • Excellent Presentation Skills • Verbal communication skills • Excellent telephone manner • Excellent team player, naturally helpful • Good time management skills • Confidence • Passion • Dedication • Ambition • Self-Motivation • Commercial Awareness • Adaptability and flexible approach to changing requirements within the day to day business.
