Activus Recruitment is a small but rapidly growing Recruitment Firm, we are independently owned and based in Kintore, Aberdeenshire. We have an exceptionally strong team that brings diversity, experience, and knowledge to the recruitment field. Due to current business growth, we are currently recruiting an experienced Recruitment Consultant to Join Activus Recruitment. The role will include working in a high paced recruitment environment, meeting tight deadlines on a daily basis as well as being pro-active in sourcing candidates through a variety of means to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction. Duties include, but are not limited too - • Meet with clients; understand their industry, what they do and their work culture and environment. • Maintaining and developing client relationships and targeting new business development opportunities. • Attracting candidates by advertising, networking and referrals. • Manage the daily short-term labour requirements with a pro-active approach to ensure all labour requirements are met. • Completing a thorough search of the candidate database to find the best candidate for the employer’s vacancy. • Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and short-listing candidates. • Preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants. • Organising interviews with candidates and providing feedback to candidates and clients. • Briefing candidates for specific roles and preparing candidates for interview. • Produce regular adverts and post on website and job boards • Maintain and update the database on a regular basis • Maintain and update the social media sites on a weekly basis Qualifications and Training • Good experience using Microsoft Applications. • Higher / Standard grade English & Maths Experience • Knowledge of the Construction and Commercial Industry • Sales & Marketing Experience Qualities and Attitude • Good Inter-personal skills • Demonstrate personal initiative and be pro-active • Customer focused • Able to plan, prioritise and meet tight deadlines • Good organisational skills • Problem Solving • Flexibility • Confidence meeting with Clients • Meticulous telephone manner • With a desire to grow the business through a range of marketing/business development activities
