Job Description

There are a lot of adverts on here for Recruitment Consultant, Trainee Recruitment Consultant and Senior Recruitment Consultants. So rather than try and cover all the bases let me tell you why I joined Academics! I've worked for 4 companies over the course of my 10 year career in recruitment and never have I been happier than I am here at Academics. The reason for this is simple, it's grown up recruitment. It’s in the interest of my managers and directors for me to be happy, well supported and looked after. I'm here because I want to be, there isn't anyone standing over me with KPI's, I've got no confusing house splits or overly complex commission scheme's taking % cuts of thresholds. In my last company I was one of the top performers working across mainstream education recruitment and was overseeing a team of 10 all with various experience and backgrounds. I have come here to build and develop the SEN division and that includes the addition of 3x new hires. I am looking for trainee Recruitment Consultants, Experienced Consultants (from any sector or industry) as well as Education Recruitment consultants to help deliver in this niche market. Academics commission is among one of the best I'm come across. There are term-ly targets (set annually) that will increase your base salary as soon as they are hit! Annual targets as well as cash bonuses, billers’ lunches and various other incentives. We are well established (2002) have a genuine consultative approach and are willing to give consultants a chance to work build and maintain a desk. I can offer guarantees, warm areas and competitive salaries. I've loved the genuine autonomy here and have no doubt I'll be with the company for many years. Please feel free to call me for an informal, open, confidential conversation about the role and your background. A CV is preferred but not essential
