Recruitment Consultant (Trades and Labour) About the company: With over 40 years’ experience within the construction industry and now 20 offices in major cities across the UK, ITS is a well-established and success recruitment agency. Each office prides themselves with their local knowledge of both candidates and clients and bespoke tailored service. With director’s present in each office they are all independently run with hands on management training and all uphold a reputable group ethos. Due to growth in the industry our Southampton office is now looking for an experienced consultant to join our lucrative trades and labour team. The job role and the desk: The role will be being part of a busy, fast paced sales team establishing new and maintaining relationships with a mix of blue chip and SME clients in an assigned geographical patch. The role is to attract business from construction clients source candidates and build a successful weekly plan of temporary trades and labour staff. Expected duties: • Use sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking in order to attract business from client companies. • Continue to build the database of suitable candidates and fully vet them checking tickets and references. • Working in a busy team sharing and converting leads. • Advertise vacancies. • Work to agreed objectives to exceed sales targets Essential Qualifications/Experience required: The position is ideally suited to someone with previous temporary recruitment experience and preferably construction. We are open minded to an entry level consultant, but they will require previous sales experience and be able to adapt to the high demands of this type of sales environment.
