Extra Personnel Rugby is recruiting for a recruitment consultant to join our thriving team. The recruitment consultant will be sourcing and providing temporary labour to meet the fluctuating business needs. Strong sales experience within a telesales or business development role. The recruitment consultant will have a driven and sales focused attitude to new business generation. Client development within Rugby and surrounding geographical areas, previous recruitment experience is preferred but the desire, ambition and commitment to be a success is essential. On a daily basis, you will need to adapt to the changing operational needs of the client, reacting effectively to deliver results. Hours of work are Monday to Friday between 7am – 5.30pm, 40hours per week Full driving license essential. Key areas to the job include: * Cold calling, new business generation * Client visits and presentations * Daily planning and scheduling * Client relationship building * Recruitment and motivation of temporary employees Responsibilities of the recruitment consultant to include: * Building strong relationships with key contacts * Cold Calling, self generation of leads * Follow up of all leads from interview and market knowledge * Territory management * Negotiating rates and maximising profit * Client visits to expand on new and existing business opportunities * Running a recruitment and selection process for all temporary industrial labour * Interviewing and inducting workers * Daily interaction with Operational/Senior Leadership and Planning Teams to ensure expectations and needs of the Client’s business is exceeded * Full responsibility for the selection of labour, time management * Forging strong links with local Job Centres and Welfare to Work providers * Organising shift rotas and staff bookings * Completion of weekly Payroll * Ensure compliance in line with company policy (e.g. H&S, Information Security & HR) * General administration * Updating all aspects of our worker management system * Out of hours mobile phone cover * Any other business requirements This role requires the ability to be highly organised and efficient. Both a good level of IT knowledge, particularly with MS Excel and a flexible approach to your working week is absolutely essential. Candidates will have a friendly, flexible attitude and be self motivated with a commitment to lead by example in a sales orientated environment.
