The job Recruitment Consultant As a Recruitment Consultant at Northreach, it is your role to work closely with new and prospective clients that Northreach are looking to partner with. This involves great customer liaison skills and rapport building ability on the telephone and face to face. You will work closely with the Delivery team and Directors of the business to identify these opportunities and work together in onboarding new clients whilst learning the recruitment business. This is a fantastic opportunity to not only learn how recruitment is done; you can fine tune your knowledge and skills to solve problems, work with clients on a variety of projects and grow as a Recruitment Professional in the UK marketplace. Areas this covers * Understanding the recruitment industry and how specific sectors recruit their staff in the UK market * Speaking with potential customers for the first time to understand their needs and wants from a recruitment company * Identifying recruitment opportunities within the local area and nationally * Obtaining Manager Names / email ID’s & Formats / Leads / Current Suppliers / Decision Makers * Understanding the inner workings of companies and areas they need staffing solutions * Multiple calls to new customers, discussing our services Northreach provide * Sending out info via email / post to prospective customers * Helping candidates registered with Northreach to find new roles in their skill set * Attending meetings with new and existing clients of Northreach autonomously and with the Directors of Northreach * Compiling emails, provisionally arranging interviews for candidates with the delivery team * Sharing market intel with clients and contacts Expectations and qualities * Proactive and organised approach to business development activities * Ability to follow an initial script and adapt your own sales ability to maximise new business opportunities * Acknowledgement and understanding of your deliverables and workload * Work smart to achieve targets * Reliable to work without supervision where necessary * Professional and personable approach to new and existing customers * Willingness to learn and adapt What you will get out of it Working in recruitment can be the most exciting and rewarding industry to work in if you are willing to learn and work smart.
