Recruitment Consultant - Turner's Hill West Sussex **Due to our location, ability to drive and own a car is needed!! Based at rural and quiet offices on the Surrey/Sussex/Kent border, Glencourt Associates undertakes assignments for clients throughout the entire UK and mainland Europe. Recruitment Consultant - The Role/Responsibilities: • To undertake full-cycle recruitment assignments from winning the business, through to the successful placement of the client’s preferred candidate(s). • Promote the company’s services when necessary by undertaking proactive new business sales calls to canvass prospective clients from within the target sector, so as to develop a personal client base. • Undertake permanent recruitment assignments in a speedy and professional manner. This can involve meeting with clients at their offices, ‘selling’ a premium service, winning relevant assignments, negotiating a premium fee, compiling a detailed assignment brief, sourcing, interviewing and assessing candidates, agreeing a shortlist, writing objective appraisals for each shortlisted candidate, submitting candidates to the client, arranging interviews and following through to job acceptance. • Meet and exceed monthly/annual agreed personal fee income and margin targets. • Meet agreed monthly personal KPI’s. • Maintain accurate candidate and company records within the Glencourt database, updating and adding details as appropriate. As required, input details from candidates making contact via the Glencourt website, advert responses and speculative applications. • Update and maintain details of all personal vacancies on the Glencourt website. • Undertake all personal administration that supports the daily activities. • To be aware of and operate within the legal requirements that govern the recruitment industry and always conform to “best practice”. The Recruiter – You! • Minimum of two years’ experience of undertaking full 360 degree recruitment assignments. Previous experience of headhunting will be a distinct advantage. • Excellent negotiating skills and abilities • Commercially astute • Good interviewing skills with the ability to correctly assess others’ attributes and achievements • Willingness to work outside the hours of 9-5. • Highly self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative • Highly people orientated • Good inter-personal and communication skills • True team person • Possess strong personal integrity • Hungry for personal success and its associated rewards • A solutions provider • Accurate administrator • Does not want to be ‘micro-managed’ This position offers a basic salary - dependent on experience and skills and also uncapped and no threshold commission
