Recruitment Consultant - Redditch - Permanent - Competitive Salary - Excellent Commission Structure About Micron Recruitment: Established in 2015; we specialise in Engineering and Manufacturing Recruitment across the UK, we support our clients with Permanent and Contract recruitment. You will be working within a unique environment where attention to detail is required but pace and speed is critical. We operate within a competitive market sourcing skilled professionals. This role will be recruiting skilled permanent staff across the UK to some of the leading manufacturing and engineering companies. Some examples of the roles we cover are Maintenance Engineers, Quality Engineers, PLC Programmers, Injection Moulding Technicians, Service Engineers, CNC Machinists, CNC Programmers, Toolmakers, Design Engineers, Project Engineers, Shift Managers and Supervisors We are looking for someone from a recruitment / telesales / business development background, you will be given support and training from the start from our experienced team and on a 1 to 1 basis. As a Recruitment Consultant you will complete the following tasks; * Databases searches and matching candidates to vacancy criteria * Conduct initial telephone interviews to assess candidate’s suitability for vacancies * Searching job boards for candidates (CV Library, Jobsite, Total Jobs, Reed, LinkedIn) * Supporting and guiding candidates through their interview process * Business development / building your own client base * Supporting Consultants with searches * Building relationships with candidates * Managing candidate interview availability * Arranging interviews for candidates * Reference checking candidates * Advertising client jobs * Managing client relationships * Building and brining in new business * Completing the recruitment process from start to finish * Negotiating business agreements * Generate and identify new leads * Cold calls and telephone business development * Client meetings (Face to Face) * Updating client and candidate records * Working towards a KPI and Turnover targets Skills you will need to do the job: - Good telephone manner - Confidence (You will be talking to people all day on the phone) - A can-do attitude - Honesty, reliability and a good work ethic - Time management skills (You will need to be able to multi-task) - Ambitious (We are growing and want people to progress throughout the business) - IT Literate (Word, Excel and Internet Searching) - Commutation skills (Face to Face and Telephone) - Recruitment, Sales or Business Development background Benefits and Employment Package: - Excellent commission structure (paid monthly and quarterly) - Training courses and 1-1 training - 24 days holiday + statutory - Performance salary increases - Clear progression structure - Day off on your Birthday - Early finishes on Fridays - Team lunches and meals out - Incentives throughout the month - Pension We do require all employees to have their own transport (Driving license is very desirable), you will be expected to attend site visits occasionally to meet with your clients.
