An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a successful small niche recruitment team recruiting sales people of all levels and specialisms for large corporate companies on a national basis. The role of a Consultant takes responsibility for all aspects of the recruitment process and develops lasting partnerships with both clients and candidates. The company provides a comprehensive training programme for new recruits. It is designed to encompass hands-on experience, sales and account management, IT and processes, recruitment best practice and process management. Key actions within the Consultant role: Developing and maintaining client relationships: • To identify a targeted number of new vacancies, manage and create opportunities to generate business. • Regular communication with decision-makers, sales managers/directors and HR contacts. Identifying and interviewing new candidates: • Via online advertising, networking and direct searching – to identify and build relationships with relevant candidates both for current live vacancies and for the general development of the candidate database. Organising a targeted number of new first interviews with clients: • Manage the interview and recruitment process from start to completion. • Support candidates, offer guidance and direction to maximise success. Maintaining an exciting sales pipeline: • Taking responsibility for achieving monthly targets, making positive commercial decisions • Planning effectively e.g. making decisions to prioritise key vacancies and candidates Use of in-house CRM: • Access in-house data for candidate searches, client records and process management data. • Accurately maintain records Skills needed within the Consultant role: The core recruitment and process training is provided, however recruits are most successful if they bring: • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Experience of selling to, or managing, customer relationships in any sector • A positive can-do attitude and the adaptability to solve problems • Experience of working to clearly defined business goals or targets Rewards: The company offers a basic salary that is flexible dependent previous experience. In addition a commission structure that pays between 10% and 50% of the value of placements made in any quarter. Typical year 1 on target earnings are historically between £6,000 and £25,000 dependent on performance
