Job Description

The principal purpose of this role is to take responsibility for the recruitment, placement and retention of apprentices on behalf of Aspiration Training. The role will include identifying and sourcing Apprenticeship vacancies for a designated caseload of candidates (specifically in the 16-18 age group) and supporting learners matched to the vacancies to secure the role and transition into employment. Key Recruitment Consultant responsibilities: * Ensure that all potential Apprentices are screened and appropriately assessed for suitability and eligibility * Ensure that employer interviews are identified for all suitable Apprenticeship candidates * Support all potential Apprentices with the application and interview process * Ensure all prospective Apprentices are placed within agreed time frames * Monitor learners at risk of leaving during initial employment, and implement appropriate intervention strategies * Ensure relevant sections of Ofsted’s Common Inspection Framework are observed within the recruitment process. Local team building events Recruitment Consultant Specification: * Experience in giving advice on and dealing with welfare issues * Experience of recruiting learners to funded programmes Experience working with and supporting young people * Excellent communication skills, both written and oral * Willingness to aspire to reach full potential by continually improving skills and performance * Ensuring there is a collaborative and inclusive approach to working with all stakeholders (Internal/external) * A student focused approach to work Successful applicants will need to have a valid driving license and access to a vehicle. This role is a home or office based role however you will be required to attend careers fairs and meetings
