We specialise in supplying nurses, healthcare assistants and ancillary staff to private and public healthcare establishments, such as hospitals, nursing homes and medical centres. The support our staff provide is essential to maintaining the safety and quality of patient care. Kare Plus also provides tailored homecare services to local communities across the UK all provided by taking a person-centered approach. This will be achieved by recruiting and working closely with franchise owners, and by integrating new services into our model so that we can always meet the ever-changing requirements of the healthcare sector. Role Summary for the Recruitment Consultant: Recruitment consultants provide a vital link between clients and candidates: They are responsible for attracting candidates and matching them to temporary or permanent positions with client companies. They work with nursing and care homes and other healthcare establishments, building relationships in order to gain a better understanding of their recruitment needs and requirements. Recruitment consultants attract candidates by drafting role specific adverts for use in a wide range of media, as well as by networking, and referrals. Consultants will rigorously screen candidates, interview them, conduct background checks and ensure they are fully compliant with relevant healthcare regulations, (NMC/The Regulator/UKHCA/REC), before activating and placing to work. The Recruitment Consultant reports to the Franchise Owner or the Branch manager Responsible for: (Note: In addition to these functions, employees are required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required). The role is demanding, diverse and involves, but is not limited to; * Understand and work within the structure and ethos of the Kare Plus group * To work in line with the Kare Plus’s mission, vision, values. * Use sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking in order to attract new business and new clients whilst developing existing. * Negotiating contracts * Head hunting identifying exceptional candidates, some of who may already be in work, to meet the relevant service or client requirements, * Interviewing and assessing prospective applicants and matching them with vacancies at client companies * Organising Interviews and selection events * Making arrangements for the advertisement of vacancies * Visiting clients where required to build and develop relationships; * Developing a good understanding of clients, what they do, the healthcare industry, their work culture and environment; * acting as first point of contact for clients, accurately recording their expectations for the position, the salary and benefits offered, and the responsibilities of the role; * advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media, for example newspapers, websites, magazines, etc. * Working with the organisation to utilise/job boards/social media etc. to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates and employers; * using candidate databases to fulfil more vacancies or shifts; * receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews, relevant tests and creating a bank of staff for your workforce reservoir; * requesting references, monitoring training and checking the suitability of applicants, before taking their application any further; * briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, pay rates and benefits of the job in question; * negotiating all the Terms and Conditions between candidates and clients prior to the start of their employment in agreement with HQ guidelines. * working towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated; * reviewing recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes; * professionally welcoming staff and visitors to the office; * manage and communicate business diary effectively * Adhere to office systems/processes and quality standards as directed; take part in the business on-call on a rostered basis and in line with the requirements of the business. * You will be expected to do a full 360 recruitment consultant role as Kare Plus Wakefield is a new venture. Willing to learn and assist other Kare Plus team members with their job roles. Adaptability and flexible approach to changing requirements within the day to day business. Desirable Experience of recruitment (within the healthcare profession) Experience of working in care Qualifications / Experience Have demonstrable and successful experience of working successfully within recruitment or resourcing.
