RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT Main Purpose of Job • To be responsible for the development, management and expansion of the Apprenticeship Recruitment Service . • To build and develop employer relationships through promotional and marketing activities, telesales and customer visits to establish a loyal customer base. • To secure Apprenticeship vacancies from employers and successfully recruit, match and place young people into those vacancies. Main Activities 1. To promote and market the features and benefits of the Apprenticeship Recruitment Service to employers throughout England. 2. To secure employer Apprenticeship vacancies through telephone canvassing, face to face meetings, referrals and presentations. 3. To meet the targets set in KPI’s. 4. To produce proposals and other documents to support the service to employers and candidates. 5. To maintain the web site, keep the information up to date and develop and implement promotional campaigns. 7. Where appropriate screen candidates by telephone and in person and provide guidance in interview skills. 9. Manage, motivate and support personnel employed to deliver the administrative support. 10. Provide advice and guidance on UK employment legislative matters to employers and candidates relating to pay and conditions. Main Outcomes 1. To expand the Internal system to meet the targets set for the numbers of Apprentices placed in employment. 2. To establish the Internal system as a recruitment route to contribute to the Company’s Apprenticeship in learning targets. 3. To deliver a high level of customer service to both employers and candidates to ensure customer satisfaction and secure word of mouth recommendation
