Teaching Personnel is the UK's leading education recruitment agency, working solely with schools throughout the UK and Wales. Following the re-opening of schools, we are seeking to hire a Recruitment Consultant for our Kent office.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
As a specialist Recruitment Consultant in the Education sector here at TP, you are the vital link between client schools and educators (supply staff). TP has over 80 branches across the UK and Wales, the incoming applicant will join one of the most successful and be expected to contribute and support the high expectations and achievements. You will be required to:
Make a high volume of sales and business development calls to schools in your patch
Build and develop your own candidate database by advertising for and sourcing teachers and support staff for short and long term work
Conduct face-to-face and virtual client meetings to build relationships with key decision makers in schools in order to successfully service your client schools
Work to KPIs and targets in line with the company and local expectations
Deliver a high level of customer service to schools and educators

About You
To be successful as a Recruitment Consultant, will have excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality. In addition, you will also be resilient and have a passion for education and making a difference every day. Prior sales experience and knowledge of the education sector would also be beneficial but is certainly not a must have to be considered.
You will be given opportunities to gain industry leading skills and experience, challenged to explore your potential from day one by participating in our internal learning and development programme whilst receiving unrivalled support daily. Teaching Personnel offer a career path for our Education Recruitment Consultants to progress, reviewing performance regularly and you may qualify for promotions up to 4 times per year.
Hours of Work
This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis (42.5 hours per week, 5 days per week)
Working remotely from home and within our Maidstone office in line with current government guidelines
Salary and Benefits

Annual basic salary starting from £20,000 per year to reflect skills and experience plus performance-related commission
